IMPORTANT INFO: With a fairly epic forecast tomorrow morning all Amateurs need to register tonight (friday) between 8pm and 10pm at the sandsifter! Early start with briefing at 8am at Sandsifter tomorrow (Saturday) with first possible heat at 9am. Tommy Armstrong will be rocking out at the Sandsifter to warm things up tonight from 9pm. Sunday breifing at 9am. GLOBAL SHOTS: Global shots will be taking photos so all competitors can buy professional shots at a special event deal online. END OF YEAR PRIZE GIVING: The Cornwall event and end of year BWA overall championship prize giving will be at Sandsifter from 5pm on Sunday, stay posted for updates incase of change.
Welcome to the official site of the 2011 Pura Vida Cornwall Wave Classic After the epic event of 2010, the Cornwall Wave Classic returns for 2011 and will take place from the 28th - 30th October. Depending on conditions the event will be held at either Gwithian, the home of down the line wavesailing in the UK, or Marazion, one of Cornwall's premier jumping and riding spots. For 2011 we are proud to announce Franklin & Marshall as headline sponsors of the event alongside sponsorship from Pura Vida Boardriders and support from No Limitz Masts, RB Sails and Sandsifter Cornwall. The event would also not be possible without the organisation and help from the British Wavesailing Association. Attracting world class wave sailors, the Cornwall Wave Classic has always been a highlight of the BWA calendar and this year will be no exception with a strong fleet of the UK's best sailors in attendance, and a confirmed £1000 prize fund, the event is sure to be as action packed as always. For 2011 we will be updating the website, along with our Facebook and Twitter pages, with all the news and action as it happens on the day, so make sure you follow us to keep up to date on the action as well as the build up to the event!
